The Estate Romana combines a colourful mix of entertainment, from jazz, rock and classical music to film, sport, theatre and children's fun. Around 150 events in parks, squares, art galleries and around monuments fill Rome's balmy summer evenings.

Ippodromo delle Capannell and Villa Celimontana are just two of several venues that host concerts, while theatre performances are held at Villa Doria Pamphilj and Foro di Augusto. Open-air film screens are set up on the River Tiber Island.

Some initiatives may continue throughout October.
